"Playing can make us all feel better, no matter how badly we play."
If you are a new musician, you might be worried about how good you have to be and what pieces you should be able to play to join an orchestra. Fortunately, the Really Terrible Orchestra of Pennsylvania RTO-PA is for all skill levels and will allow you to improve in a practical, compassionate and encouraging setting.
Whether you are a seasoned musician, just starting to play, learning to play a secondary instrument, or picking up your instrument for first time in years, please join us! RTO-PA members come from all walks of life and include students, people actively working in a variety of careers and retired individuals. To become a member, all you need is an instrument, a music stand, the ability to read music, and a sense of humor. You must promise to practice… or at least feel bad if you do not!
